2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the public pages of jalkiasennushissit.fi: the front page, the service and city pages, the blog, and the quote request forms on them.

The service at jalkiasennushissit.fi/app/ has its own privacy policy. That one covers user accounts, organisations, project records, email invitations and the project bulletin subscription list. If you sign in to that service, or you have subscribed to project updates, that policy applies to you rather than this one.

3. What we collect

The quote request form stores what you enter: the address of the building, the number of stairwells, your name, your email address and your phone number.

We use them to answer your request and prepare a quote. The legal basis is steps taken to enter into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

We collect nothing from your browsing without your consent.

4. Cookies and visitor measurement

We set no cookies and measure no visits until you agree.

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to count visits. Consent for advertising and profiling is permanently denied: we do not use the data for advertising and we do not pass it to ad networks.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, and we ask again after 12 months. You can change it at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.

5. Google Maps and maps

The quote request form uses Google Maps to look up and identify an address. The map service is not loaded when the page opens. Google’s Maps code is fetched only when you move into the address field or start typing in it. At that point Google receives your IP address and browser details.

The address you type is sent to Google for suggestions before you submit the form.

On a project status page, the map is shown only after you click Näytä kartta. Until then nothing is fetched from Google.

6. Services we use

• Cloudflare — hosting, storage and sending the form notifications. The data is held in the EU.
• Google Maps and Google Places — address lookup, see section 5.
• Google Analytics — only with your consent, see section 4.
• Cloudmeet — our appointment booking runs on a separate service. It opens only when you click a booking link, and you leave this site at that point.

Google may process data outside the EU. Transfers rely on the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep it

We keep a quote request for as long as handling it, and any resulting job, requires. Records that lead to invoicing are kept for the period Finnish accounting law requires.

8. Your rights

You have the right to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to have it transferred to another controller, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
